Use AI with confidence, every day, across your whole business.

Policies, SOPs and technical guardrails, including platforms such as Google Cloud Model Armor, that let your people and your AI applications work productively without exposing your data, your customers or your reputation.

Overview

AI Safeguards, SOPs & Guardrails

AI is already inside your organisation. Staff are drafting emails, summarising documents and analysing data with AI tools, often without clear rules about what is allowed, what data can be shared, or who checks the output. Customer-facing chatbots and AI agents add another layer of risk: a single cleverly worded prompt can trick a system into revealing confidential information or saying something your brand would never say. The productivity upside is real. So is the risk.

We protect you on two levels. First, people and process: drawing on decades of board-level and executive experience, we write the policies and SOPs your people actually follow, role-specific, in plain language and embedded in the tools they use. Second, technology: we design, configure and tune enterprise guardrail platforms such as Google Cloud Model Armor, Amazon Bedrock Guardrails and Azure AI Content Safety, or open-source alternatives, so every prompt and every response is automatically screened for prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, sensitive data and harmful content.

The result is an organisation that moves faster with AI, with safeguards that work automatically in the background and evolve as AI capabilities, threats and regulation change.

Problems we solve

  • Staff using public AI tools with no clear policy on data, accuracy or disclosure
  • Chatbots and AI agents with no technical protection against prompt injection or jailbreaks
  • Personal or confidential information flowing into AI models, or leaking out of them
  • Leaders unable to say where AI is used, by whom, or with what safeguards
  • Board, insurer and client questions about AI risk that need confident answers
  • Policies written once, filed away, and already out of date

01

AI usage & risk baseline

A rapid assessment of how AI is used today, which data it touches, and where the real exposures lie.

02

AI policy framework

A concise, board-ready AI policy covering acceptable use, data classification, disclosure, accountability and escalation.

03

Role-based AI SOPs

Step-by-step standard operating procedures for each team, from sales and finance to HR, operations and customer service, showing exactly how to use AI well.

04

Guardrail platform setup

Design, deployment and configuration of Google Cloud Model Armor, Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, Azure AI Content Safety or open-source tools such as NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, matched to your cloud and risk profile.

05

Prompt injection & jailbreak defence

Automatic detection and blocking of malicious instructions hidden in user input, documents and web content before they reach your AI models.

06

Sensitive data protection

Automatic detection and redaction of personal information, credentials and confidential data in prompts and responses, aligned to your data classification rules.

07

Content safety & topic controls

Filters that keep AI responses on-brand and on-topic, blocking harmful, offensive or off-policy content and grounding answers in approved sources.

08

Human-in-the-loop checkpoints

Defined review and sign-off steps for high-stakes outputs, so accountability always sits with a person.

09

Approved tool register

Vendor due-diligence criteria and a maintained register of approved AI tools, configurations and licences.

10

Guardrail monitoring & tuning

Dashboards, alerts and regular tuning that reduce false positives, surface attack attempts and prove your guardrails are working.

11

AI incident response

A playbook for detecting, containing and learning from AI errors, data exposure or misuse before they become headlines.

12

Training & ongoing updates

Staff training, leadership briefings and quarterly reviews so your guardrails evolve as fast as the technology does.

Process

How the work unfolds.

  1. Phase 1

    Assess

Interviews, a staff survey and a review of your AI tools, applications and data flows establish your risk profile in about two weeks.

  2. Phase 2

    Design

We co-design your policy and SOPs, and select and architect the guardrail platform that fits your cloud, applications and risk appetite.

  3. Phase 3

    Implement

We configure guardrail policies, integrate them with your AI applications and test them against real attack scenarios, then train your people.

  4. Phase 4

    Evolve

Monitoring, tuning and quarterly reviews, informed by our R&D team, keep your safeguards ahead of new models, threats and regulation.

FAQ

Common questions

What is Google Cloud Model Armor, and do we need it?

Model Armor is Google Cloud’s service for screening AI prompts and responses for prompt injection, jailbreak attempts, sensitive data and harmful content. Amazon and Microsoft offer equivalents (Bedrock Guardrails and Azure AI Content Safety), and there are strong open-source options. If you run chatbots, AI agents or AI features that handle customer or confidential data, a guardrail layer like this is one of the most effective protections available. We recommend the right option for your cloud and risk profile, and set it up for you.

Which guardrail tools do you work with?

We are vendor-neutral. We regularly implement Google Cloud Model Armor, Amazon Bedrock Guardrails, Azure AI Content Safety with Prompt Shields, and open-source tools such as NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, Llama Guard and Guardrails AI. We often combine a cloud platform with custom rules specific to your business.

Do technical guardrails replace policies and training?

No. Guardrail platforms protect your AI applications automatically, but they cannot cover every way people use AI. Policies, SOPs and training cover the human side. Together they give you defence in depth.

How is this different from your security, governance and compliance services?

Security and governance puts the wider control framework around your AI systems, and compliance, testing and auditing independently proves they are accurate, fair and compliant. This service puts day-to-day safeguards in place: the policies and SOPs your people follow, and the guardrails that screen every prompt and response. Many clients combine them.

We are a small or mid-sized business. Is this relevant to us?

Very much so. Smaller organisations often have the most to gain from AI and the least margin for a data or reputation incident. We scale the engagement to your size, typically starting with a policy, a guardrail summary and SOPs for your highest-use teams.

Will this slow down our people?

No. The aim is the opposite. Clear guardrails remove hesitation and guesswork, so staff can use approved AI tools confidently and quickly, with review steps only where the stakes justify them.

How do you keep the guidance current?

Our AI & ML PhD researchers continuously track new models, threats and regulatory developments. Retainer clients receive quarterly updates to their policy, SOPs and approved-tool register.

Do you provide legal advice?

No. We provide expert operational, technical and governance guidance and work alongside your legal advisers, who remain responsible for legal interpretation.
